The City of Newport Business Club, established for 15 years, aims to bring together like-minded business people from Newport and the surrounding area to create a forum for discovery, discussion and debate and also some networking along the way. The club presents four speaker-led evenings per season. For the first time in 2011 we staged two lunch time get-togethers. The success of these business lunches, the first on social media the second on e-crime, was such that we're doing the same again in the 2011/12 and for the forseeable future . The club strives to generate an environment in which members and guests can meet like-minded business people creating valuable contacts. The club is a catalyst to the creation of excellent commercial opportunities for those attending one of our hugely popular evenings, or lunches. The club fosters a vibrant atmosphere placing people in the best frame of mind in which to forge key business relationships which can lead to the landing of valuable new orders.
