One of Wales’ brightest young entrepreneurs will be the guest speaker at a Newport business club’s latest networking event.
Hannah Williams, CEO of the Alacrity Foundation, will be the star guest at the City of Newport Business Club at the Mercure Newport on Upper Dock Street in the city centre on Thursday, September 18.
A passionate and driven entrepreneur, Hannah began her business journey in 2012 as the CFO of Tiny Rebel Brewery, a bold and award-winning craft beer brand that quickly grew into a household name.
Two years ago, Hannah was appointed as CEO at the Alacrity Foundation, where she supports and mentors the next generation of entrepreneurs, helping them turn innovative ideas into investable and scalable ventures.
Hannah sits as a Non-Executive Director on several boards, where she brings her commercial insight, start-up experience, and unwavering belief in the power of entrepreneurial thinking.
A proud mum-of-five, she loves to travel the world with her husband and children—exploring new cultures, finding inspiration in unexpected places, and embracing the adventures that come with both life and leadership.
City of Newport Business Club chairman Professor Jonathan Deacon said: “We’re really pleased to have Hannah as our next guest speaker.
“She brings with her a unique insight into how to turn great ideas into successful businesses, and I am sure our guests will be fascinated by what she has to say.”
The City of Newport Business Club event starts at 5.30pm. Tickets for the event, which includes a two-course meal, are priced at £27.50 and can be booked via the following link –http://www.newportbusinessclub.co.uk/tickets/
